Dubai: Diversions will be in place on the Buhairah Corniche Road in Sharjah from Sunday, making way for roadworks.
The side of the road leading to Central Souq will be closed as the Roads and Transport Authority Sharjah is planning to rebuild the road.
Traffic heading towards the Central Souq from Al Majaz will face a detour starting from Al Majaz Waterfront all the way to the Central Souq.
Motorists are urged to avoid the road if possible to ensure there are no delays as the side of the road leading to Al Majaz will serve traffic in both directions.
However, it is not clear when the roadworks will be completed and for how long the detours will be in place.
