Dubai: The Dubai Fitness Challenge has taken off with much enthusiasm from residents and government officials alike.
The latest public official to participate in the challenge is none other than Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
In the one-minute video clip, which was uploaded on YouTube by the ministry on Sunday, Shaikh Abdullah can be seen working up a sweat as he tackles a spinning bike.
He also thanked Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, for launching the initiative.
The fitness challenge, which runs from October 20 to November 18, is a citywide event that encourages residents and visitors alike to take part in fitness activities for 30 minutes every day for 30 days.
