Abu Dhabi: Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates on Friday expressed their warmest congratulations to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on the occasion of Eid Al Adha, wishing him continued health and well-being, as well as success in leading the nation towards further prosperity during a reception hosted by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah; His Highness Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman; His Highness Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah; His Highness Shaikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain; and His Highness Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, also prayed that the UAE continues to hold its strong, prestigious and respected position in the world.

The reception, which was also attended by Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers from around the UAE, including Shaikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman; Shaikh Mohammad Bin Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah; and Shaikh Mohammad Bin Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, was held in the presence of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council.

The attendees all called on Allah Almighty to preserve the UAE’s safety and security, expressing pride in the courage of the UAE people, the sacrifices they have made in the name of glory and honour, their resilience, and for standing up for what is right.

They also prayed for the souls of the nation’s fallen servicemen and women and for the protection of the soldiers carrying out their duties.

Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid and Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed later received and exchange greetings with a number of citizens, ministers, and dignitaries.

In Dubai, Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum welcomed at Zabeel Palace in Dubai a group of well-wishers who came to greet him on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.

Receiving the visitors alongside Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid were Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai; Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance; Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and a number of Shaikhs, ministers, Emiratis, and members of Arab and Islamic communities in the UAE.

Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid also received greetings from Dubai Police Chiefs, led by Lieutenant General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Head of General Security, and including Major-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Merri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, and senior officers from the Defence Ministry.

In Abu Dhbai, Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed received well-wishers who came to visit him at Al Mushrif Palace on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.

Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed exchanged greetings with a number of Shaikhs, senior government and private sector officials, top military and police officials, Supreme Council for National Security officials, top statesmen, dignitaries, Emiratis and expatriate residents.

The well-wishers also extended greetings to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, wishing him good health and well-being and continued success in leading the nation.

They also expressed their best wishes and congratulations to Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed, calling on Allah to continue blessing the UAE and its people with progress and prosperity.

In Sharjah, Dr Shaikh Sultan welcomed well-wishers at Al Badeea Palace.

In Ajman, Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid welcomed well-wishers at Al Zaher Palace.

In Umm Al Quwain, Shaikh Saud Bin Rashid also received well-wishers at his palace.

In Ras Al Khaimah, Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr welcomed well-wishers at the Khuzam Palace.

In Fujairah, Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad also received well-wishers.
