Dubai: The Indian Consulate in Dubai has invited Indians living in Dubai and Northern Emirates to attend its monthly Open House on Friday.

The Consulate had announced the plan to resume the Open House where consular officials would address the issues and grievances of community members during the recently held celebrations on Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Divas (NRI Day).

In a press release on Monday, the mission stated that the monthly Open House will be held on the last Friday of every month from 3pm to 5pm.

“The Open House for the month of January will be held on the auspicious occasion of Republic Day on January 26, 2018 (Friday) from 3pm to 5pm in the Consulate Auditorium.”

“Senior officers/officials of the Consulate will be available to address issues/grievances related to various matters pertaining to Indians, particularly Indian workers, residing in Dubai and Northern Emirates,” the consulate said.

The mission clarified that the mechanism of Open House is over and above the existing mechanism of meeting consulate officers on any working day on issues related to labour, consular, passport and other miscellaneous matters. “Indian nationals are welcome to attend the Open House,” it added.
