Abu Dhabi: Indian actor Jinu Joseph was on Friday detained for questioning at Abu Dhabi international airport after he allegedly abused Etihad Airways staff during a flight.
The actor was subsequently released after he wrote an apology for his actions on board the New York-Abu Dhabi flight.
A statement released by Etihad Airways regarding the incident said: “A passenger was met and detained for questioning by airport security officials on arrival at Abu Dhabi International Airport today following his disruptive and abusive behaviour towards cabin crew onboard an Etihad Airways flight from New York.
“Following his questioning by officials, he subsequently apologised for his actions in writing, and continued his journey,” the statement added.
