Abu Dhabi: More than 10 tonnes of food products and other items were recently confiscated from unlicensed street vendors in the suburbs of the capital, the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City announced in a statement sent on Monday.
Seven fines of Dh1,000 each were handed out to violators, and municipal inspectors also seized seven cars carrying vegetables and other food, the statement said. The inspections will continue in the coming weeks.
