Dubai: Dubai Municipality on Thursday concluded the 37th Plantation Week celebrations by opening a valley park and a public square in Hatta.
Humaid Al Qutami, Chairman of the Board and Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority, and Hussain Nasser Lootah, director-general of Dubai Municipality, were present.
A Dh15-million project, the Hatta Valley Park is located near Al Hajar rocky mountainous area. It offers spectacular views of the heritage sites that tell the history of Dubai in the mountainous areas. The Dh2-million People’s Square is spread over an area of 0.44 hectare and includes two games arenas for children fitted with rubber surface and colourful umbrellas.
