Sharjah: A huge fire broke out at a used car shop in Sharjah's industrial area on Sunday, said Lieutenant Colonel Sami Khamis Al Naqabi, Director General of Sharjah Civil Defence.
Lt Colonel Al Naqabi said the fire broke out at 1pm in Industrial Area 2.
“We immediately took the necessary precautions to contain the fire from spreading. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. There were no reports of casualties,” Al Naqabi said.
Three cars were damaged in the fire, he said.
The burnt cars were sent to a forensic laboratory to determine the cause of the fire.
