No one injured during bird strike but plane suffered minor damage, according to airport officials
Dubai: No passenger suffered any injuries during a reported bird strike by an Emirates flight EK571 landing at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport in West Bengal on Monday, according to the Kolkata airport.
The plane suffered minor damage and has been grounded for repairs while passengers were rebooked on other return flights to Dubai, multiple media outlets have reported.
The incident mirrors a similar bird strike last week at the same airport.
