Ajman: Ajman Police have launched a self-service machine in City Centre Ajman, the first of its kind in the emirate, with 12 more to be launched in shopping malls in Ajman.

The machine aims to measure the happiness index of the public and provide a package of services such as the follow up of employment applications and the possibility of communicating with the Ajman Police commander-in-chief, information about the Correction and Rehabilitation Department penal and correctional facilities as well as directions to the nearest police station and police centres, details of road conditions which aim to clarify the flow of traffic, and reviews of the latest police department news, activities and achievements.

Captain Khalil Ebrahim Al Hammadi, manager of the electronic department, accompanied by Abdul Karim Bu Khasheem, Director-General of City Centre Ajman, launched the service to test its effectiveness.

This service is a result of the efforts of Ajman Police to enhance public confidence and in line with the initiative by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to achieve customer satisfaction in all UAE institutions.
