Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, praised efforts made by the Dubai Executive Council over the course of 15 years.
He underlined the council’s role in boosting the implementation of Dubai’s vision to be ranked among the most advanced, happiest cities in the world.
Speaking on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the executive council, Shaikh Mohammad highlighted the council’s role in driving ahead development in Dubai as well as its pivotal role in upgrading services to ensure the welfare of people.
“Success is not measured by our position but by our strong will and reliability in the face of challenges. During the past 15 years, the Dubai Executive Council has played a prominent role in consolidating this stability and achieving the goals and aspirations of Dubai,” Shaikh Mohammad said.
He noted that the council has enriched the government work with new ideas that helped in incarnating success and harnessing potential to develop government performance and raise the level of services provided to both citizens and residents.
“With the implementation of our approach for smoothing and facilitating all matters of life, I am quite confident that we are moving forward with steady and firm steps, and under the leadership of Shaikh Hamdan and his team, we will continue our drive of development,” Shaikh Mohammad said.
He added: “To maintain the sustainability of our development, we need to keep up with the pace of rapid changes in the world and create competitive capabilities that would enable us to remain and continue our role in the international arena.”
