Strong wind lands metal bed on Etisalat post in Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al Khaimah: Pictures and videos of a metal bed on an Etisalat pole in Ras Al Khaima went viral on social media on Friday.

It is believed that strong winds had landed the bed up on the post in Ghalilah area of Ras Al Khaimah.

The metal bed reportedly belonged to one of the workers in one of the shops in the area.

Strong winds have been blowing across the country for the last two days, including Ras Al Khaimah.

Ahmad Hamd Al Shehi of the Public Works Department in Ras Al Khaimah said that they had received a call about the incident but local residents had already removed it from the post by the time their team reached the spot.
