Dubai: The weather in the UAE will remain unstable on Saturday and for the next two days with chances of thunder and rain in the evening until Monday morning due to the persistent low pressure coming from Saudi Arabia, according to the national weather bureau.

"The conditions are partly cloudy to cloudy. Scattered rain accompanied by thunder is expected [on Saturday] until Monday morning in all emirates because of the cloud cover," Saleh Al Mashjeri, a weather forecaster at the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology, told Gulf News on Satuday, adding that the weather is expected to clear on Monday.

The weather bureau has warned against any sea trips as the Arabian Gulf waters will be rough with waves reaching 2 to 3 and up to 5 feet onshore, and reaching 10 feet offshore.

The public is advised to check weather conditions before engaging in outdoor activities along the coasts and on the road for the safety and security of all road users. Read more weather updates
