Al Ain: Bright sunshine and generally clear weather is expected to reflect in a gradual increase in temperatures and resultant early-morning fog at least up to the weekend, according to weather forecasters.

A rise in temperature is also likely to push up humidity levels in almost all emirates, which in turn could give rise to fog especially in coastal and interior areas.

The region is currently experiencing contrasting temperatures by day and night, which is giving rise to late-night and early-morning fog.

On Tuesday, fog was reported in different UAE cities, but it cleared as the sun came out brightly. The national weather bureau says weather conditions are expected to remain stable for several more days.

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has forecast light to moderate winds and calm seas.

"We expect an increase in relative humidity during the night and early morning over some internal and coastal areas," said the forecast.

The weather will be good in general all over the country. People driving late in the night and early in the morning are advised to take necessary precautions, especially in the western region of Abu Dhabi and on highways passing through the desert and coastal areas, forecasters said.

The minimum and maximum temperature yesterday remained between 16 to 30 degree Celsius in coastal areas, between 13 Celsius and 35 Celsius in the interior, and between 15 Celsius to 27 Celsius in mountainous areas.
