Dubai: Urgent visit visas will no longer be issued under the new rules that go into effect on July 29, said a senior interior ministry official on Thursday.
Earlier, the Residency Department would issue a visit visa on an urgent basis on additional payment of Dh100.
"That has been scrapped," said Major General Mohammad Ahmad Al Merri, Director General of Dubai Naturalisation and Residency Department.
