Illegal immigrants detained in crackdown
Ten illegal immigrants in southern remote areas have been detained following a Naturalisation and Residency Department crackdown.
Ras Al Khaimah: Ten illegal immigrants in southern remote areas have been detained following a Naturalisation and Residency Department crackdown.
The department initiated inspection campaigns in the area as they are believed to be ideal hideaways for illegals. Lieutenant Colonel Sultan Al Nuaimi, who heads the department, said inspectors had initiated successful inspection campaigns in the areas.
He said the first campaign covered the southern remote areas of Al Munaei, Kadrah and Al Huwailat. Legal measures will be taken against the detainees.
