100,000 visas issued after new rules
Nearly 100,000 entry visas have been issued since the implementation of the new visa rules on July 29.
Dubai: Nearly 100,000 entry visas have been issued since the implementation of the new visa rules on July 29.
Brigadier Obaid Muhair Bin Surour, Acting Director of the Dubai Naturalisation and Residency Department, said 95,784 entry visas have been issued.
Of these, 52,144 were entry visas, 17,469 mission entry visas and 15,961 tourist visas. Visit visas included 3,572 short-term and 788 long-term visas, and 6,638 visas were issued according to the old system. They were submitted before the new rules took effect.
