Abu Dhbai: Paid parking will be extended to an additional 3,030 areas in four new sections from Sunday, June 10, a spokesman for the Abu Dhabi Department of Transport said on Tuesday.
Sectors W13-01 is located between Al Manhal Palace from the north, Hazza Bin Zayed Street to the south, Shaikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Makhtoum Street "Airport Road" from the east, and Al Karamah Street to the west managing 263 parking spaces.
Sector W12 is located between Corniche Street to the north and Zayed The First Street to the south, and Sultan Bin Zayed Street to the east and 6th Street to the west, managing 672 parking spaces.
Sector W38 is adjacent to the previous sector and is located between 5th Street to the north and Zayed The First street to the south, and 6th Street to the east, and Khalidiya Police Station to the west, managing 334 spaces.
Sector E22 is located between Shaikh Mohammad Bin Khalifa Street to the north and Al Jazira Street to the south, and Muroor Road to the east and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Makhtoum Street "Airport Road" to the west, managing 1761 parking spaces.
Parking management services will apply in these areas from 8AM to 10PM, Saturday to Thursday. The charges will be Dh3 per hour for premium parking (curbstones painted in turquoise and white) with a maximum permitted parking duration of 4 hours, and Dh2 per hour or Dh15 per day for standard parking (curbstones painted in turquoise and black). Parking is free on official holidays, however, cars parked illegally will be fined at any point in time.
