Abu Dhabi: The Ministry of Labour (MoL) has upgraded its website to benefit both employers and employees with a bundle of unique services.

Around 66.5 million users viewed the website recently, according to figures issued by the Minitery.

The newly upgraded site came as part of the ministry’s keenness to update its online software technologies and to implement the directives of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to shift towards a smart government.

“The updated website will meet the needs of our audience and responds to different inquires more efficiently, allowing users to access services easily even through their smart phones,” Mubarak Saeed Al Dhaheri, undersecretary of MoL, said.

“The website was redesigned in the first place to serve employers and employees. It contains electronic questionnaires to note public opinions and frequently asked questions section that includes the most important questions concerning the labour market,” he added.
