Abu Dhabi: A total of 45 million were collected on the third and last day of a nation-wide fund raising campaign launched by the UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) to help Syrian refugees displaced to Lebanon and Jordan by violence in their country.
The campaign - consisting of specially made TV, radio and print advertising- was launched under the theme "They Called for Help-- We Responded"
The RCA stressed that the campaign would continue to collect donations made by individuals and corporate bodies through its offices and branches throughout the UAE to provide more aid for Syrian brothers.
