Dubai: New distinguished car number plates starting with the digit zero will be released by the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in May.
Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of RTA, said that launching the new initiative is part of the RTA’s keenness to meet customers’ needs and interest in the acquisition of distinguished numbers. He also pointed out that the RTA will present a limited number of distinguished car plate numbers for different codes.
Over the next coming weeks, the RTA will identify the numbers and categories to be released, starting with the digit zero, and they will be released to customers through auction or direct sales at the customer service centre.
