Dubai: The Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation has carried out several Ramadan charity projects and iftar meal initiatives for needy Muslims in 19 countries across the world.

This was announced by Chancellor Ebrahim Bu Melha, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation, who said that the foundation is eager to implement charity projects in a number of Arab and Islamic countries, as well as other countries where Muslims live, in an initiative that reflects social solidarity and ties of brotherhood among Muslims.

The iftar meals programme is implemented in Palestine, Iraq, Egypt, Mauritania, Somalia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Indonesia, Tajikistan, India, Japan, Ghana, Senegal, Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Haiti, Canada and the United States, in collaboration with charity bodies and zakat committees in these countries.
