Sharjah: Al Majaz Waterfront will celebrate the UAE’s 41st National Day with many fun-filled events and exhibitions, including cultural dances, firework displays and multimedia shows at the spectacular Sharjah Fountain on December 1 and 2.

Al Majaz Waterfront all set to welcome National Day
The celebrations will showcase the rich heritage of the region with five-hour cultural dance performances
The activities will include events showcasing the rich heritage of the region through several five-hour long cultural dance performances at its Fountain Piazza area. They will run from 5pm to 10pm on both days.
Three 15-minute multimedia shows will also be held at the Sharjah Fountain, starting at 8pm, 9pm and 10pm. They will feature a performance of the UAE’s national anthem, accompanied by a huge water screen projection of the UAE flag. An animated water screen calligraphy show titled, ‘The Times in Lines’ displaying the UAE’s achievements since the establishment of the Union will be displayed by the fountains. The programme will concluded with a firework display show at 9pm.
Al Majaz Waterfront will also host the FUNN Media Arts Exhibition. It starts today and ends on December 6. To be displayed in the West Events area, it gives an opportunity for the youth and children to exhibit their artworks, including photography, graphic design, digital media, film-making and animation pieces.
The Woman’s Union Association in Sharjah will also hold an exhibit of traditional UAE-made artefacts from November 28 to December 7 in the East Events area of Al Majaz Waterfront.
