Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority (TCA) has launched an online guide for visitors to the emirate during Ramadan.
The handy lifestyle tips, in eight languages, will be available during the holy month at VisitAbuDhabi.ae, Abu Dhabi’s official destination website, Information on the Ramadan experience will be available in English, Arabic, French, German, Italian, Russian, Chinese and Japanese.
Travellers to the emirate are invited to check these pages for any questions on Ramadan etiquette or to find out how life in Abu Dhabi is transformed during the month.
The e-guide covers a variety of topics from basics such as when Ramadan takes place and what it means, to explanations of “Suhour” and “Iftar”.
It also features places to visit in the emirate during Ramadan including the stunning Shaikh Zayed Grand Mosque, which updates its complimentary guided tours to include insights into the practices of the Holy Month and the annual Ramadan & Eid Festival at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
