Gulf News readers have come through, once again.
Every time we've run a story about people in trouble, the community has responded. They read the reports on Lakshman and Zaki, stories of two people who were lost perhaps never to be found.
And pitched in, helping us to identify, to connect the two men to their families and hopefully their lives. We are often accused of being caught up in a race against time to make ends meet.
But, in that rush there exists a vein of gold — our readers have proved that today, yet again. In the case of Lakshman, two readers went to the hospital, understood his condition and took a personal initiative to track his family in India. Gulf News thanks and salutes the generosity of spirit of its readers.
