Sharjah: Fans of Freej, the Middle East’s first 3D animated series, will get a chance to interact with four of its main characters in a specially designed Village at the Al Majaz Waterfront this Ramadan until Eid Al Fitr. Visitors can choose from various activities including workshops for children, a photo booth with Freej themes and backgrounds, traditional Emirati food, and games and entertainment. “Through Freej Village, we want to mirror and celebrate the UAE’s rich history, its traditional and cultural ambiance, as well as folk arts and tales about the living and social conditions of our ancestors,” Ahmad Obaid Al Qaseer, Shurooq Chief Operating Officer, said. The village will run daily from 9pm to 1am.
