Dubai: A severe sandstorm reduced visibility to 1,500 metres in Dubai on Saturday.
Motorists faced hazardous driving conditions but flights in and out of the UAE were not disrupted.
Maha Darwish, Duty Forecaster at Dubai International Airport, said, "No flights have been cancelled and we are operating a normal service."
