Last month I forgot my 3 month old son and left the car in valet parking, realized just 5 minutes later and rushed back fortunately the car park attendant heard him cry and tried to locate me by the time I was at front office rushing to pick him. I was scared when my wife asked me why the delay at first gave an excuse but before we went to bed I informed her about my mistake since, then my kids & wife remind each other before we leave the car in parking. I wish and pray to Almighty that this should never happen to anyone.

I can't believe this thing could happen for the reason stated! Being a parent myself, I can't imagine forgetting my son alone for a minute. May the boy's soul rest in peace.

how is that possible? i may understand that the kid was left in the car, but not forgotten for three hours. has no one thought of the kid on his whereabouts in the first 10 or 20 minutes after getting out of the car? something is really wrong. i hope it won't happen again. may the kid's soul rest in peace.

They must be procesuted, I cannot imagine the little angel fighting his life inside the car just to survive, but 3hrs is too much difficult for him to survive. It is very painful to us (parents). Lord bless this little angel may he be in your hands.

Dear B E A I hope your soul rest in Peace. The Almighty gives the strength to family to overcome the greatest loss of their life. Even after many such casualties in past, people still don't take actual care of children in car. Many times small children are seen sitting on the front seat with driver parents. I think the efforts that the UAE Police are putting to erase such incidents aren't read and understood by people still. Seems more socialize efforts has to be brought into to bring people's attention. Best of Luck to the UAE police. R I P BEA.

Modern life, or life in the 21st century, makes it a bit too hard to raise many children at once, giving rise to smaller families. I mean, a scenario like this couldn't happen without cars, garages, swimming pools, hectic schedules, distracting smartphones and tablets and, arguably, poor education. That is, some people are simply ill-equipped for today's life. That being said, three hours without checking on your 3-year-old kid is way too long by any standard.

Sad, i wonder how come someone didn't even bother about the baby for three hours.

I cannot believe that parents have not checked the whereabouts of their kid for 3 hours. Some discipline in life will help resolve these things such as give the kids a wash immediately after coming back from a trip. This will ensure the kids are safe and also free from any germs they might have picked up along the trip. These days families are spoilt with Nanny's bringing up the children. This could have been avoided if parents took full responsibility.
