Dubai: The second black box from the cargo plane that crashed in Dubai on Friday has been recovered, the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) announced on Tuesday.

The digital flight data recorder from the UPS Boeing 747-400 that crashed last week killing its two pilots was recovered at 9.15am from the crash site on Tuesday.

A statement from the GCAA said it was "in reasonable" condition.

The first black box, the cockpit voice recorder (CVR) was recovered six hours after the accident on Friday. The two recorders will shortly be sent to the USA for analysis.
