Abu Dhabi: A 62-year-old Indian man’s body was found lying in the premises of a residential apartment building in Abu Dhabi on Monday morning.
The body was spotted around 11 am in the grounds of Eldorado Cinema building on Electra Street, witnesses and neighbours of the deceased told Gulf News.
The police cordoned off the area until the body was removed from there, they said.
The man was living in an apartment on the 10th floor of the same building with his wife, a neighbour said.
It was not clear whether he fell to death from his apartment, he said.
Abu Dhabi Police were not immediately available for comments.
The man C.B, 62, and his wife G.B, 56, have been living in the apartment for about one year, the neighbours said. His wife is a teacher at a prominent school in the capital.
The couple is from the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, they said.
The neighbours said the couple was living alone in their apartment but they did not know whether they had children back home.
