Dubai: A cook and a babysitter have been jailed for three months after they were discovered having sex outside marriage. The babysitter’s sponsor was alerted to the situation after she heard the woman screaming in pain.
The sponsor rushed down to the sitting room and found the 26-year-old babysitter, M.A. in blood-soaked clothes and crying, according to prosecution records.
The sponsor said M.A. an Indonesian, repeatedly shouted the name of the 32-year-old Bangladeshi cook, R.I., and told the sponsor that she had bled after they had sex.
Police arrested the couple and took them for questioning, where they admitted to having consensual sex in the sitting room.
The Dubai Misdemeanours Court sentenced them to three months in jail following by deportation.
“I am guilty. R.I. is my stud and my lover. He works with me at the same villa. I had consensual sex with him one time. We met in the sitting room of my sponsor’s villa in Nad Al Hamr… he kissed me and we cuddled for a short while before then removing my clothes and sleeping with me. I was a virgin and as soon as I started bleeding he stopped. I slept with him and I didn’t take from him any money,” the babysitter told the prosecutor who questioned her.
Meanwhile the cook alleged, according to his prosecution statement, that M.A was his workmate. He denied having intercourse with her claiming that they only cuddled and flirted.
“It was 9am when we met in the sitting room. We exchanged kisses then we hugged and cuddled. When we were about to start intercourse, she started bleeding… immediately I stopped after that and didn’t continue the intercourse. That was the first and only time we did such a thing,” said the cook.
Dubai Police’s forensic examiner confirmed the babysitter had recently lost her virginity and at a date which matched the incident.
