Dubai: A businesswoman, charged with premeditated murder, wailed in court Tuesday morning when she claimed that she had no intention to kill her friend.
Defending herself before a three-judge panel, the 26-year-old Kazakh businesswoman, A.F., told the Dubai Court of First Instance: "I didn't mean it to happen and God saw what happened… I was fighting for my life and when I quarreled with him I never imagined myself killing him. It happened but unintentionally and I tried to save him after stabbing the victim."

Kitchen knife
Prosecutors charged A.F. with intentionally murdering her Ukrainian boyfriend, Y.C., by stabbing him with a kitchen knife.
Prosecution records showed that the woman was in her villa in Umm Suqeim when she had a heated argument with Y.C. before she grabbed a knife and stabbed him in the heart once.
A forensic doctor confirmed that the stabbing was fatal.
Pink prison dress
The woman in her pink prison dress wept before the court and submitted documents in which she confirmed that the parents of her ex-boyfriend pardoned her for what happened. The blood parents granted the defendant a written waiver in which they said they believed the death was accidental.
A judgement will be heard on February 21.
