There is an urgent need for parks in the Al Warqa 2 area of Dubai, according to Gulf News reader G. Vaidyanathan.
He said: "This is a developing residential locality and is a peaceful place to stay in, but it lacks the availability of recreational areas for both children and adults. There are vast stretches of barren land but it has not yet been put to use."
Vaidyanathan said that people have to take their evening walks on the side of the road which does not have footpaths. "Children have no proper areas to play. Adding a few parks would be a great help to residents," Vaidyanathan added.
