Official holiday as Qatar marks National Sports Day
Qatar has decided to mark the National Sports Day on the second Tuesday of February.
Manama: Qatar has declared Tuesday an official holiday as the country celebrates its first National Sports Day.
All government ministries, agencies and establishments as well as banks and financial institutions will be closed on February 14, Qatar News Agency (QNA) said.

Reports in Doha said that several ministries and organizations have lined up a series of public events and have encouraged their employees to engage enthusiastically in the sports activities
