More than 68,000 travellers left Kuwait during the Eid holiday heading to Dubai, Bahrain and Cairo, said Kuwait civil aviation.

The director of operations at civil aviation said that 104 flights left Kuwait airport last Wednesday, including 13 flights in addition to the planned roster, carrying 27,643 passengers, reported the Kuwaiti daily Al Watan. A total of 106 flights left the airport on Thursday, including 18 additional flights, carrying 22,672 passengers. The first day of Eid saw the departure of 101 flights, including five additional flights, carrying 18,126 passengers.
