Meet top Italian chefs in Dubai

The Italian Cuisine World Summit is back in Dubai for the third time, from October 27 to November 5, with 25 Michelin-level chefs from Italy cooking across the city’s restaurants.

The annual food festival, now in its seventh year, will see Italian guest chefs based all over the world cooking at 30 local Italian eateries including Alta Badia, Bice Mare, Cavalli Club and Roberto’s. There will be 20 events overall, including the Michelin Star Chefs Gala on November 1 and Michelin Gourmet Golfing Day on November 3.

The gala, at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, will have 170 chefs present, including 15 chefs from Dubai and 10 from Italian restaurants around the world, with many preparing dishes at live tasting stations. Tickets, Dh200, can be bought by calling 04-4143000.

The Address Montgomerie Dubai Golf Club hosts the golf event, a first for the Summit, at which four Italian chefs serve food for those playing a gold tournament. A gala dinner by chefs Patrizia Di Benedetto, Vincenzo Guarino, Rosanna Marziale and Sergio Vineis ends the day; email events@exquisitecomms.com.
