Rajneesh Duggal won the Mr India 2003 competition and was declared the first runner-up at Grasim Mr International the same year.

This set the ball rolling for a lucrative modelling career. His impressive physique and charming personality made him a sought-after ramp model.

He has worked with leading Indian fashion designers and appeared in a host of commercials, shows and music videos.

Recently, Duggal made his Bollywood debut with Vikram Bhatt's period-horror film, 1920 that earned him good reviews.

His next, Phir, also stars Adah Sharma, his co-star in 1920, and he hopes even this time, the pair will deliver a good performance.

Favourite holiday destination: London

I love visiting the UK as I like the British culture. There is a charm and aristocratic air to the place that make you feel good about being there.

I am fortunate to have explored the scenic countryside and admire the architectural landmarks across the UK.

The people, the cool weather and the cosmopolitan atmosphere make you fall in love with the place, especially London (below), which I believe is the most happening place in the world.

You can do so much there — right from shopping, dining and partying to visiting beautiful tourist spots. It always feels good to be on London Bridge. The view of the city from the London Eye is incredible.

Memorable moments in the UK

The shooting of 1920 — it was shot in a Yorkshire castle.

What not to do in the UK

Do not forget to carry different kinds of clothes, such as woollens, T-shirts and rain jackets, as the weather in UK is unpredictable. You just don't know what you may need to tackle the climatic conditions there.

Three must-haves on a holiday

Cellphone, digital camera and credit card or foreign currency.

Any other favourite destination?

I think any place in Europe is wonderful, because of the scenic beauty and the lovely weather.
