Also make sure you dine in the hotel’s signature restaurant, Market by Jean-Georges, as the creative, souq-inspired menu is packed with mouth-watering Middle Eastern dishes that have been reinvented with international, cosmopolitan flair.
But all-in-all, our favourite thing about the W Doha has to be the beyond-stylish rooms – they’re rated as ‘Spectacular’, ‘Marvellous’ and ‘Cool’, depending on their luxury level; and there’s even a ‘Wow’ suite which comes with floor-to-ceiling views of the Arabian Sea, while hanging curtains are draped around the luxe circular bed, making it a striking room that you’ll be very reluctant to leave!
Of course, it would be remiss of us not to mention the more-than-impressive swimming pool, which comes complete with colourful fibre-optic lights and underwater music, so the party doesn’t even need to stop while you do laps. After you’ve spent a few hours lounging poolside, make your way through to the nine treatment-roomed Bliss Spa, which has a menu that reads like a what’s-what in R&R. Take our advice and try the Triple Oxygen Treatment to feel super-refreshed, energised and ready to head back home.
