There is no denying the fact that Berlin is one of the coolest cities in Europe; the kind of place you can wander around all day, moving from bar to café via an amazing boutique and then spending the evening dancing away in one of the most stylish clubs in town.

So, if a hipster holiday appeals, there’s only one place to stay; opening in November 2010, Hotel Nhow claims to be Europe’s first music hotel. It’s right in the artistic and fashion heart of the city and everything in the hotel revolves around music and design. They offer keyboards and guitars to the guests, have silent rehearsal rooms, boast two professional recording studios, and iPod docking stations are in all rooms – basically, you’ll feel like a total rock star for the duration of your stay.

It’s not all about the music though and the restaurant, Fabrics, serves up a contemporary mix of German-French cuisine in a chic and sleek white environment with vibrant splashes of pink. Plus there’s an art gallery that showcases the best in contemporary creativity, and a fitness area that comes complete with a Finnish sauna and an experience shower.

The entire hotel feels like a bubble of colour, a bubble you’ll never want to check out of.
