There's a new last minute addition to the Taste of Dubai food festival: Table 9, one of Dubai's hottest new restaurants. The brainchild of two former Gordon Ramsay proteges Scott Price (pictured) and Nick Alvis, the restaurant at the Hilton Dubai Creek hotel opened late last year and has won over the city's foodies with its modern British-styled cuisine. The pair, who previously worked at Rammsay's Verre restaurant in the same location, came up with their own concept and successfully pitched it to the hotel — making their offering a uniquely home-grown fine dining option. Taste of Dubai takes place at Media City Amphitheatre from 3pm today. Tickets are priced Dh75 on the door.
