Samreen Kanwalkamaluddin, a housewife

I come from Pakistan where we don't have foods like dosa and idli. I started eating South Indian food, which is unique in flavours and presentation, after I came to the UAE.

I am especially fond of masala dosa, as it can be eaten both as a snack and a light meal with other side dishes. I specially like the one served at Geetha Restaurant in Bur Dubai. I even tried to make it at home but the pancakes never came out right.

I guess there must be a magic technique to get the dosa off the girdle.
