Go gourmet at Anantara

The Abu Dhabi hotel in Eastern Mangroves is bringing in six international chefs for an Asian-inflected Food Festival from November 29 to December 8. That includes Thailand’s Chef Chumpol and chefs from Bali, Vietnam, China and Japan and Thailand. There will be a chance to see the chefs in action at the show kitchens in the all-day dining restaurant Ingredients, and try a Gourmet Festival Week menu at Pachaylen. There will also be masterclasses; call 02-6561000.

New menu at Bo House Café

Check out local art and taste new dishes at the Dubai Marina restaurant located on The Walk this week. Alongside the BOZART exhibition of works by Dubai based artists Lisa Fabian, Sarah Khalil and Ishtar Al Shaybani, there are new dishes under the cafe’s “eat yourself healthy” philosophy. Expect vietnamese spring rolls, vegetable crudités with a yoghurt and mint dip and cocktail sauce and a vegan, low-fat “slim pasta.” Chef Giovannino Fittipaldi makes his own gelato, but we can vouch for how low-cal that is.
