Hummingbird lands Sept 23

Long Yin reopens

Get ready for some seriously sophisticated Chinese. The longtime Asian favourite at the Le Meridien Dubai has just reopened after refurbishment, and the theme is CHIC! Think grey slate and blue and green, dark wood panelling and wooden grille panels. Sounds like another high end Chinese in town, but Long Yin is focused on traditional, authentic Chinese dishes. We are beyond excited about the fact they’ve added a dim sum chef -- you can watch him at work in the open kitchen, where 34 steamed and fried items are made. Open for lunch (until a whopping 4.45pm) and dinner. Visit longyin-dubai.com. They’ll be serving moon cakes this month, celebrating China’s mid-autumn festival.
