WWE superstar Randy Orton and actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau are the latest stars to be added to the lineup at this year’s Middle East Film and Comic Con (MEFCC), which runs from April 7-9.
The wrestler — one of the biggest names in WWE history — will hopefully be ready to perform his signature RKO move on unsuspecting nerds at the annual pop culture convention, now in its fifth year. Fans will have the chance to try their own ‘Walk On’ at the WWE stand, say organisers.
Meanwhile Game of Thrones fans (we’re guessing there are one or two) will be stoked to hear that Jaime Lannister aka The Kingslayer will pop into the con, just days before the new season premieres on April 24. Coster-Waldau will appear at MEFCC on April 7 and 8 — here’s hoping for some juicy inside info.
Also added to the line-up are American genre actress Summer Glau (who has played the likes of River Tam from Firefly/Serenity, Cameron from Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and Isabel Rochev from Arrow) and tokidoki founder, Simone Legno.
Italian artist Legno will be doing signings, workshops and meeting fans, as will American-Filipino comic book artist Whilce Portacio, known for his work on The Punisher, X-Factor, Uncanny X-Men, Iron Man and Wetworks and for co-creating the X-Man Bishop.
Already confirmed for the con were Christopher Lloyd, Veronica Taylor, co-creator of Deadpool Fabien Niceza and Stan Lee via live video.
