The resort will begin offering a one night stay every Friday
Feeling the heat? By the end of the month, you’ll be able to camp out at the indoor ski resort, Ski Dubai, in Mall of the Emirates.
Every Friday night, starting July 29, those who fancy will be able to stay overnight in -4C weather.
It costs Dh750 per person.
Campers will have access to all the Snow Park facilities; they will be able to ski, snowboard and take a ride on the zip-wire (Snow Bullet) for two extra hours, between 10pm-midnight, when the park is closed to the general public.
Campers will be given waterproof gloves, jackets and beanie hats and a mug of hot chocolate on arrival. They will be provided a two-person tent with sleeping bags and a thermal mattress.
Breakfast at St Mortiz cafe, next to the resort, is included in the stay.
Reservations can be made through the Ski Dubai booking line, 800-386.
Ski Dubai, which opened in 2005, spans 22,500 square metres of indoor ski area. The number of tents available each Friday will depend on demand.
