Who's in it? Chace Crawford, Emma Roberts, 50 Cent, Zoe Kravitz, Rory Culkin

The plot If you love watching rich kids running wild ã la Gossip Girl and The O.C., then welcome to your dream movie!

Chace Crawford stars as White Mike, a down-on-his-luck former rich kid, whose mother's recent battle with cancer depleted the family fortune. When she dies, Mike is left trying to make ends meet by selling drugs to his friends and former school pals. When Mike's addict cousin, Charlie, is murdered - by Lionel (50 Cent), Mike's supplier - along with an innocent bystander, Mike's best pal, Hunter, is taken into custody and charged with double homicide.

Meanwhile, the privileged Manhattanites Mike calls his peers are all in a tizzy over the upcoming birthday of a super-popular girl, Sara, which she persuades desperate-to-be-liked nerd Chris (Culkin) to host. Behind the scenes, Sara's best friend Jessica - who has become addicted to ‘Twelve', the drug Lionel sells - arranges to meet Lionel at the party to pay him some cash she owes him.

Come party night, Jessica doesn't have the money and some dark teen moments see Lionel pull a gun on Mike, Chris's brother pull a gun on Lionel and the whole party descend into a bloodbath from which not all of them will emerge unscathed.

What we liked Chace Crawford is as gorgeous as ever to admire on screen, and the youngest Culkin brother is also a pleasure to watch, following his recent role in Scream 4.

What we didn't like If you're not a Gossip Girl fan, then look away now, because this is like a two-hour-long episode, full of zeitgeisty tunes, standard-issue sniping rich kids and lives lived under a veneer of moneyed gloss. Ultimately, a tad disappointing
