The plot When Tripp Kennedy (Dempsey) walked into a bank to get change, he had no idea he was about to become a hostage in a robbery, let alone two, as a pair of different gangs ambush the bank and try to rob it. Held hostage along with the employees of the bank, including the beautiful and sassy Kaitlin (Judd), Tripp tries to stop the cat-and-mouse style stand-off between the two gangs, while desperately trying not to fall for the girl. Fun premise, but overall the film lacks polish.

The Change Up

The plot Childhood friends, Mitch (Reynolds) and Dave (Bateman), were inseparable when young, but as they've grown up, their lives have taken different paths. Dave is an overworked lawyer with a wife and two kids, while Mitch is a bachelor with no sense of responsibility. They envy the other's life, and after a night out the pair, ahem, relieve themselves into a fountain as lightning strikes, and when they wake up they find themselves in each other's body. They try to live in the other's body, with hilarious consequences. Bateman, as always, is brilliant and oh so dry, and Reynolds draws plenty of laughs, too.
