Battle of the Sexes, starring Steve Carrell and Emma Stone, is the Diff365@Vox Cinemas showcase that will screen from December 7 until 14 at cinema 9 at Mall of the Emirates.
The heartwarming tale chronicles the infamous tennis match between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs in 1973, which highlighted the struggle of a woman battling for equality in the male-dominated world of sports.
Battle of the Sexes premiered at Telluride Film Festival, receiving critical acclaim for Carrell as Riggs, and Stone, who plays King.
Directed by American filmmakers Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris, Battle of the Sexes is their third joint directorial-venture to date, having previously worked on features such as the two-time Oscar-winning classic Little Miss Sunshine (2006).
Austin Stowell (Bridge of Spies) and Sarah Silverman (Wreck It Ralph) star in supporting roles.
