The Dubai Film and TV Commission (DFTC) has launched VIDXB, an annual gathering of online video fans, creators and industry professionals. The two-day event, to be held from December 8 to 9, will cover everything from lifestyle and beauty to gaming, technology and sports, and will promote knowledge-sharing through hands-on experiences, workshops and training sessions.
“VIDXB is a platform that will accelerate growth of the online video industry, which represents the future of content. Every individual that attends VIDXB will have an opportunity to learn, create, demonstrate, and engage with content makers, both regional and global,” said Jamal Al Sharif, Chairman of the Dubai Film and TV Commission.
The event is a result of the partnership between DFTC and The Alliance, organisers of the Middle East Film and Comic Con (MEFCC), the largest pop culture festival in the region. For more on the event, go to filmdubai.gov.ae.
