Jamu is a traditional drink of Indonesia with a history of health benefits. There are as many versions of Jamu as there are households in Bali, but in essence they are immune boosters enriched with high levels of natural antioxidants.

INGREDIENTS

1 litre orange juice
50ml lime juice
1 tsp cloves
1 star anise
4 tbs honey
4 tbs brown sugar
A handful of mint leaves

METHOD

1. Blend together lime juice, cloves, star anise, honey and brown sugar.

2. After blending thoroughly, mix with orange juice and serve chilled.
